Are you looking for a summer adventure, every day of the week? Each Summer, Blessed Generations Academy will be launching our Summer Day Camp. Designed with working parents in mind, we want to keep your kids happy and active this summer while helping them grow and learn!

Operating out of our multiple locations, campers ages 6-14 will enjoy age-appropriate activities like swimming, sports, games, arts, crafts, and field trips to kid-friendly attractions in the Lower Mainland. In addition to having fun, we will be incorporating leadership lessons, workshops on emotional and mental health, experiences that promote multiculturalism, team-building exercises, hands-on science workshops, and activities that promote education and literacy to set our kids up for success in the coming school year. We believe that education needs to be multidisciplinary and our goal is to deliver a program that will promote a child’s spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional and physical growth.
Our Summer Day Camp will be available for 10 weeks over the summer holidays. Children are welcome to participate for the entire 10 weeks or register on weekly basis.

FAQs
1. Why choose BGA Summer Day Camp?
Summer break can present a number of problems for working parents and we hope to ease those concerns by presenting a Summer Day Camp program that will provide children with meaningful experiences while promoting growth and learning. Our goal is for parents to focus on their careers in peace, knowing that their children are not missing out on a single thing and making the most out of their summer break: making friends, trying new experiences, gaining skills, and continuing their learning. With extended hours, we hope to be a solution for families this summer!
You can rest assured that our Day Camp Staff are highly qualified and passionate about what they do. Day Camp Staff are a minimum of 17 years of age, and most are college and university students or recent graduates. All staff must have their current Standard First Aid and CPR “C” certification as well as a clear criminal reference check on file. Our Day Camp Staff receive a minimum of one week of pre-camp training, in addition to constant supervision and feedback on their leadership.
2. How do I register?
You can fill out an Inquiry Form here. Once you fill it out, our Camp Coordinator will be in contact with you and you will be given your Registration Form, Day Camp Handbook, and answers to any questions you may have!
3. Will lunch be provided?
Lunch will not be provided and parents must provide campers with lunch and snacks, as needed per child.
4. What does my child need to bring to camp?
Along with comfy clothes and shoes they can run/exercise in, campers should have a backpack with all these essential items labelled:
– Sunscreen
– A hearty lunch
– At least two snacks
– Refillable water bottle
– Extra socks, hat, & sunglasses (if needed)
– Swimsuit and towel (on days where swimming is part of the activities)
If campers bring electronics to camp, please be advised that BGA cannot be responsible for any lost or stolen items.
5. What should my child wear to camp?
Our camps are active and we tend to have a lot of fun outside! Please dress your children in weather-appropriate clothing that are comfy, easy to exercise in, and easily washable. Try to dress in layers as mornings may be cool and days can be very hot. Some recommended clothing items include shorts, lightweight pants, running shoes, hats, and sunglasses. Please avoid flip flops or sandals, as toes can get easily stepped on, unless it’s for the sole purpose of being used for swimming.
6. Can I register for a drop-in or daily rate?
Unfortunately, we only offer weekly rates at this time and therefore, our registration is on a per-week basis.
7. What if I need to cancel my child’s Day Camp Registration?
Requests for cancellations or refunds must be made in writing and submitted to camp@blessedgenerationsacademy.ca. Cancellation requests received at least 30 days before the start of the camp will receive a refund minus an administration fee of $50. Cancellation requests received less than 30 days before the stat of the camp will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellation requests that are received less than 15 days prior to the start of the program being requested to cancel will not qualify for a refund. A doctor’s note is required for cancellations due to medical reasons. Refunds are not granted for inclement weather.
